Since Gennesaret, Inc. is an innovative all-volunteer nonprofit corporation, all proceeds go directly to serving those in dire financial straits through our family housing apartments and our Family Nutritional Center. On behalf of families in temporary need of assistance, we thank you for your support. We also hope you enjoy the "Home Run for the Homeless."Special Note! Bring your old running shoes to the race this year and donate them to the poor.

AWARDS: Given to top-three male and top-three female overall, 1st master male and female (40-49), 1st grand-master male and female (50 and over) and top-three places in all age groups.
DIVISIONS: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, Men & Women 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over.

NEW TOY DRIVE! Every year on the Saturday before Christmas, we spend a couple of hours, after serving the meal, giving out gifts to the children whom we serve. If you would like to make a donation of a new toy for the children whom we serve, bring it on race day.

Release: I hereby assume all responsibility for all risk of damage or injury that may occur due to my participation in the "Home Run for the Homeless" Race. In consideration of "Home Run for the Homeless" Race, I, my heirs, executor and administrators, hereby release and discharge Gennesaret, Inc., City of Akron, their agencies, representatives, employees and sponsors, from all claims, demands and rights of causes of action, present or future, whether or not known or anticipated, resulting from or arising out of, either directly or indirectly, my participation in the "Home Run for the Homeless" Race. I attest that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this race. I have read and understand the foregoing assumption of risk and release the aforementioned organizations, entities and persons the 27th day of November, 2008.

No baby joggers, strollers, roller blades, bicycles, headphones, skateboards or dogs due to insurance limitations. Wheelchairs must be selfpowered. Directors reserve the right to refuse entry. The course will be closed by 10:15 a.m. All participants should be completed by then.
